Annette Evans

Annette Evans is the chair person for the community organisation Insight Endometriosis.  Her aim is improving outcomes of women and teenage girls affected by this significant condition. The group empowers the endometriosis community through information and education, community support, and reduces diagnostic delays by raising awareness in the wider community. Some of the great services the organization offers include:

    • Coffee Groups
    • Educational Programs
    • Evening Meetings with guest speakers
    • Phone and Email Information and support
    • Organizes the annual Purple Walk for Awareness

While endometriosis is very common, it can be an isolating illness. It is a complex condition and treatment options can be confusing, especially to those newly diagnosed.
Many women find that becoming informed and seeking family and community support can be valuable to help manage the condition and being assertive when seeking treatment. We improve outcomes for women by helping them become expert patients.>

I had a wonderful hassle free experience dealing with the Womens Health Centre. The staff are friendly and the waiting area was always clean and tidy. I felt my care was in very capable hands with Naylin and I would definitely recomend him to others.  Mary Brown
